Enter what you have today: raw materials as one GRN, finished and semi-finished goods as Opening Stock.

1Raw materials: one GRN

Make one GRN dated today with every raw material, quantity and rate. Why a GRN:

  1. Costing, FIFO stock value and profit all read GRN rates.
  2. Your starting stock sits in one document, the cleanest start.
  3. It's easy to fix later: open the GRN and correct it.

See purchase entries. Set the status to Approved.
