Flash and scrap that lower your cost
Record flash per shift and credit its value against every mat.
Selling flash to a scrap buyer, or reusing it?
Set it up as a by-product on the press step. Weigh it once per shift; its value is credited against the cost of every mat.
1Set it up
WhereProduction → BOMs → Gym Mat → Flows → the live flow → Edit in Canvas → Pressing step → By-Products → Add Product
- 1The live flow Production → BOMs → Gym Mat → Flows, then click the flow.
- 2Edit in Canvas For a live flow, choose Create draft & edit. The floor keeps the live version until you publish.
- 3Pressing step Click the step that leaves the scrap.
- 4By-Products tab The fifth tab of the step.
- 5Add Product Add the scrap item.
- Usable Inventory; pick the scrap item (Rubber Flash Scrap, kg).
- Leave Quantity per cycle blank: you weigh it.
- Record per: Shift.
- Value ₹15 per kg, your scrap buyer's rate.
- Turn on Credit against material cost.
2How the credit is worked out
22 kg flash ÷ 40 mats = 0.55 kg/mat × ₹15 = ₹8.25 credit per mat (last 7 days)
